Greek Bowls at Home (and a meatball recipe!)

Greek-Style Meatballs

Prep time | 5 mins
Cook time | 22-25 mins
Serves | 12-15 meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs ground beef or lamb (using a primal beef here is amazing!)

  • 1 eggs

  • 1 T flour (AP or GF all-purpose)

  • 1.5 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder or flakes (or 1/2 finely diced white or red onion)

  • 1/2 tsp oregano

  • 1/4 tsp coriander

  • 1/4 tsp cumin

(this recipe is super easy to double if needed!)

Instructions

Stovetop (my favorite!)

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir until well-combined.

  2. Heat a large pan over medium heat. Once the pan is hot, wet hands and roll out meatballs to about 1.5” thickness and place one at a time into the pan. Let sit for 7-9 minutes, then use tongs to flip to the opposite side and cook for another 7-9 minutes. Lower the heat and cover the pan for 3-4 minutes.

  3. Serve!

Oven

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir until well-combined.

  3. Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Wet hands and roll out around 12-15 meatballs.

  4. Bake for 22-25 minutes!
