WHAT’S MY PHILOSOPHY?

For too long I followed all the trendy wellness recommendations I could find - mounds of green veggies for every meal, low carb, little fruit, no coffee, lots of raw kale & broccoli, swapping dairy for nut products, only eating at certain times of day - if you’ve been there you know the list goes on and on.

Once I was introduced to the idea of all of this being biologically and nutritionally backwards, I found rapid healing.

What if we looked at how humans have eaten for thousands of years? What if we stopped falling prey to the latest recommendation and instead honored our biological design and the foods we love to eat?

Healing and nourishment can be found in real, delicious food.

My business name was intentionally chosen from a desire to foster community and connection. Some of the most beautiful and intimate memories I have involve dining with loved ones, and while I’d love to host thousands in my home, creating recipes you can bring into your own is the next best thing!

Food has often been reduced to something we manipulate, cut, or avoid, but it is truly our source of life. Food is about bonding, tradition, sustenance, and enjoyment, as well as nourishment.

    My cookbooks give you a little more kitchen creativity! Batch is a compilation of warming recipes that are mostly make ahead and bulk-prep friendly, and Fixin’s has all your Southern-style and feel-good favorites!

  • My work is loosely based on principles from Dr. Ray Peat, Weston A. Price, and others who sought ancestral principles that honor biological needs. All recipes are whole-food based and made for deep nourishment!

  • The beauty of digital products is that they are evergreen with lifetime access, as opposed to a hard copy book that can tear, get lost, etc! I will always replace files for computer/phone crashes, etc.

    The methodology I use is also quite unique - I combine healing principles with delicious recipes and have seen many women heal chronic health issues, come off medication, quite literally change their lives! That is invaluable to me ❤️
