Warm, Nourishing Drinks for Fall and Winter
First - if you’re new here - welcome! I’m a certified functional nutritionist (in training!) and recipe developer who helps women feel empowered in their health journey, learn how to confidently eat well, find healing and support during chronic illness, and gain kitchen confidence through simple, delicious recipes for you and your family!
It is officially TIME for all the cozy mugs of sweet little somethings.
(Well maybe not in Texas where it’s a billion degrees in November still, but I digress).
Here’s a round-up of my very favorite, nutrient dense, warm and cozy drinks for cooler temperatures!
Warm Drinks to Make at Home This Fall and Winter!
Bone Broth Hot Chocolate
The top spot (naturally) has to go to my internet famous bone broth hot chocolate!See the full original recipe at the link above!
These marshmallows will be in my upcoming Nourish e-book, launching soon!
2. Gingerbread “Latte”
Did you know that blackstrap molasses is one of the MOST nutrient-dense foods there is?
Every year I turn to this super cozy drink that is rich in minerals and protien!
Just add all ingredients to a small pot, stir well, and simmer until warm!
3. The MOST Nourishing Golden Milk
This makes for a great nightcap and includes soothing spices like turmeric, and a beautiful nutrient boost with the bee pollen, collagen, and manuka honey!
Heat over low until just warm!
4. Creamy Pumpkin Coffee
Tired of your plain morning java? This seasonal spin is such a fun treat!
Whisk together:
- 1.5 TBS pumpkin puree
- 1.5 TBS maple syrup
- 2 TBS half and half or cream
- 1/4 tsp each of ginger and cinnamon
- dash of ground cloves and cardamom
- stir in 10 oz of hot coffee (my very favorite is this mold & mycotoxin-free brand: code FALLONSTABLE will give you a discount!)
Happy Warm Drink Season!!
