Who else is a fall girly THROUGH and through?! Soups, stews, cozy movies, changing leaves, beautiful crisp air, pumpkin-flavored everything. It’s a good time.

First - if you’re new here - welcome! I’m a certified functional nutritionist (in training!) who helps women feel empowered in their health journey, learn how to confidently eat well, find healing and support during chronic illness, and gain kitchen confidence through simple, delicious recipes for you and your family!

And on that note, I’m going to highlight some of my FAVORITE recipes for a nourished, comfy fall!

10 Healthy Fall Recipes (real food, for the whole family!)

(many of these are from my various digital cookbooks - the links for each book will be provided!)

  1. Bacon & Potato soup (pictured above!)

This recipe in my Batch e-book is one of my top favorite soups of all time. It’s creamy, easy to throw together, full of flavor and of course, supportive nutrients! With a bone broth base, spinach added in, and healing spices like rosemary, it checks the boxes for everything I love about a good soup: nourishing, delicious, & simple to make.

  2. Pumpkin Bread Bars
This is also in my Batch book but I’ll give you a little secret…it’s also on my blog, too 😉. These are fluffy, chocolatey..it’s the type of recipe the Fallon’s Table community collectively counts down the days until we can start making again. It’s an annual staple recipe, for sure!

  3. Chicken & Dumplings

Fresh onion, garlic, and rosemary make this SO nourishing and comforting. A bone broth base for extra gut-support of course, and doughy dumplings (GF if needed, you can also make it with wheat flour!). This one feels like a warm hug. Find this recipe in my Fixin’s e-cookbook!

  4. Fall-Flavored Baked Oats

Spices like cinnamon, ginger, and molasses make this easy fall breakfast so delightful! It comes together in just a few minutes and feels like gingerbread and pumpkin spice had a sweet little porridge baby. This one is also in my Batch cookbook (if you’re sensing a pattern, here, Batch is what fall recipe dreams are made of!)

  5. Scalloped Potatoes

Cheesy, creamy potatoes feel quintessential to fall, yeah?! This recipe is pure comfort, but not without nutrient-density! Bone broth, grass-fed butter, and potatoes offer a beautiful mixture of minerals like potassium and calcium that your taste buds will thank you for. Find this recipe in my Tots e-cookbook!

  6. Bone Broth Hot Chocolate

I would be remiss if I didn’t include my internet-famous bone broth hot chocolate recipe! In July of 2020 on a hot Texas day I created this random concoction that has become a viral sensation - that is hard to even wrap my head around!! Don’t knock it ‘til you try it, as they say!

  7. Nourishing Enchiladas

Don’t get me wrong, I’m team enchiladas all year long, but something about a piping hot pan of stick-to-your-ribs goodness feels very appropriate for fall in particular. This is arguably one of my audience’s MOST-loved recipes from Batch. The sauce is truly the best you’ve ever had and comes together in about five minutes!

  8. Mom’s Meatloaf

I used to think I didn’t like meatloaf. They couldn’t have chosen a better name?! But it turns out, when you add in rich broth, balsamic vinegar, and red onion, it turns into a warming delicacy and not the cardboard sad dinner you remember. Found in my Fixin’s book!

  9. Broccoli Rice Casserole
Got any fall potlucks? This is perfect as a shareable, host-able, even freezable meal or side! As always, nourishing ingredients are the key base, with flavorful spices and simplicity of prep. Your kids will even eat their broccoli with this one! 😉 Found in my Tots cookbook (which is kid-inspired, by the way! All your childhood favorite recipes made healthy!)

  10. Lentil & Pumpkin Soup

Fiber-packed without being boring and easy enough to throw together in 30 minutes! This entire flavor combination is a savory dream! Find this in, no surprise, my Batch book!

I hope this helps inspire you in your fall cooking, friend! Happy Nourishing!
